BTS sent a message before entering the military service: “Looking forward to the day of reuniting as a group

“I think it will be so much fun when we get together again and reconvene as a group,” said Jung Kook.

The four members of BTS spent their time with fans ahead of their enlistment. Members gave their greetings to ARMY (fanbase) around the world.

On December 5, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook went live on Weverse. This is the first time more than 4 members have gathered together since Jin’s enlistment.

They shared the reasons for their decision to enlist around the same time. Jimin said, “I’m sorry but it’s time to go. I and ARMY will miss gathering together like this.”

Jung Kook said, “We decided to do this because we want to reconvene as a group again soon as possible. I have no regrets and I think it is a very good decision.”

RM reassured, “It may take some time (to come back), but it’s not a big deal. It’s been 10 and a half years since we debuted, so a year and a half will go by quickly.”

V aims to use military service as an opportunity to improve his strength. He said, “I will become healthy and strong, and I will (develop) stamina that will not tire me out even after like 15 concerts.”

Members have prepared a variety of content during the time of military service. Jung Kook said, “We have prepared a lot. While you’re enjoying it, we’ll be out soon.”

With the enlistment of four members, BTS has announced that the band will begin a hiatus. RM and V will enter the training center in Nonsan on December 11. Jimin and Jung Kook will enter the recruit training center of the 5th Infantry Division on December 12.

RM made a sincere request to ARMY, “Our presence may cause a nuisance at the enlistment ceremony because other soldiers and their families will be there. Please refrain from visiting the training center on the day of enlistment.”

They even got down on their knees facing the camera. Jimin added, “We know how you feel, so please support us on that day only with your hearts.”

RM wrapped up, “I will come back healthy with a smile. Jin, please come back quickly and fill the empty seats for us. Don’t worry, we will come back healthy and happy. And this was BTS.”
