Britney Spears took to Instagram on Tuesday evening with a reel of herself enjoying an outing on the beach, in which all she wore was a set of hoop earrings.

The Grammy-winning singer, 42, said that the reel was taken from a vacation around ‘three months ago,’ as she enjoyed the intimacy of a private island getaway.

‘I run around the island naked,’ the Oops!… I Did It Again said of her tropical getaway, adding three of the see-no-evil monkey emojis.

The I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman performer vouched for the authenticity of the clip, adding, ‘Video so you can see the pics are real!!!’

The timeframe of the trip appears to correspond to a vacation the Hold Me Closer singer took to French Polynesia in early October while staying at The Brando hotel, TMZ reported at the time.

The singer took to social media amid news breaking Tuesday that her father Jamie Spears – who she publicly feuded with over the 13-year conservatorship he headed – had his leg amputated around a month ago.

Jamie Spears, 71, underwent an amputation on his leg after undergoing five surgeries on the leg after it was infected, leading to an extended stint in a hospital, TMZ reported.

Sources told the outlet that Britney has felt sympathetic to the plight of her father and ‘once even talked about sending him money to help him out,’ paving the way toward a potential reconciliation.

The I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman performer has previously posted photos from the vacation photo set.

Last week, she shared a shot in which she was pictured from behind, turning around and smiling on a beach, captioning the image, ‘…it’s just me !!!’

The Gimme More vocalist also shared a shot from the set of pics October 26.

Spears, in her new bestseller The Woman In Me, said last month that she feels empowered by taking and posting pictures of herself with no clothes on.

Things were on the downturn for Spears earlier this autumn, as she was the center of concern after appearing to dance with knives in a clip she posted to the social media platform in September. She later claimed the knives were fake.

On August 16, Spears estranged husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce from the pop star in Los Angeles after a 14-month marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause for the parting.

Asghari, who began dating the singer in 2016, said in court docs the pair had parted July 28.

Earlier in July, Spears was involved in what she described as a ‘super embarrassing’ incident after she approached high-profile NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama, the number one pick of this year’s draft selected by the San Antonio Spurs.

Spears said she ‘decided to approach him and congratulate him on his success’ when she saw him at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

The Toxic artist said she ‘tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention,’ when ‘his security then back handed me in the face without looking back, in front of a crowd … nearly knocking me down and causing my glasses off my face.’

The pop star went on to file a report with police over the incident, which Wembanyama said he was unaware of until hours later.
