Contrary to other reports, Maddox Jolie-Pitt will not soon be discussing his relationship with his father Brad Pitt in a new book.
Following a report that Angelina Jolie’s 22-year-old son would be writing a tell-all “Daddy Dearest” memoir about Pitt, a source close to the family is setting the record straight.
“This is not true and is nothing more than gossip,” a source close to Jolie tells The Messenger.
The previous report alleged that Maddox would be writing a memoir that is “said to delve into the complexities of their relationship, offering a firsthand account of the highs and lows, triumphs and tribulations.”
The book rumors come just weeks after Maddox’s sister Zahara seemingly left “Pitt” off her name when she was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College.
During her initiation at the historically Black Atlanta women’s college, the 18-year-old simply stated her last name was “Jolie.”
“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie,” she can be heard saying in a video of the ceremony. “And [I] landed all the way from the Golden State in the city full of angels: Los Angeles, California.”
