A young African lady named Chebijira Esther who won the Chevening Scholarship has bagged her master’s degree at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
Esther is a Uganda Native who earned his bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education at Makerere University, Uganda before she proceeded to the United Kingdom to further her postgraduate studies.
She took to Linkedin to celebrate her achievement of earning her master’s degree at the University of Glasgow, Scotland in the United Kingdom. Esther bagged the degree in Inclusive Education with a focus on Research, Policy, and Practice.
”Excited to share the news of earning my Master’s degree in Inclusive Education: Research, Policy, and Practice! from the University of Glasgow generously funded by Chevening Awards,” she said.
Esther mentioned that her master’s program was fully funded by the prestigious Chevening Awards. She said apart from the skills and networks she gained, she also had an experience that strengthened her belief in inclusiveness.
She added that she learned that the only sure way one can create sustainable and positive change in communities is through equipping every learner with a quality and inclusive education.
She expressed her gratitude to her mentors, friends, lecturers, and family for their unwavering support throughout the academic journey that transformed her. She also thanked everyone who played a role in her success.
Esther said she looks forward to contributing to the advancement of inclusive practices in education spaces, communities, and organizations.
