‘Wow! Incredible!’ – Conor McGregor reacts to Brock Lesnar’s lookalike daughter breaking shot put record

Conor McGregor was one of the many people excited to learn the apple didn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Brock Lesnar’s daughter.

In recent days, Mya Lesnar, who is a track and field athlete, has become something of a viral sensation after setting a new shot put record at Colorado State University.

Fans are stunned by Mya’s resemblance to her famous dad

The 21-year-old shared a video of her 18.50m effort on Instagram, alongside the caption: “A new PR and a new school record!! Happy with a strong start to my season.”

One athlete impressed by the rising star was McGregor, who posted on Twitter: “Wow! Incredible!”

‘Notorious’ also shared news of Lesnar’s feat with his 47 million Instagram followers, but many people discussed her striking resemblance to her father instead of focusing on what wowed McGregor.

Lesnar rose to prominence in the wrestling world by becoming champion at the age of 25 in 2002 before switching to MMA in 2007 and winning the heavyweight title in 2008.

The 46-year-old hasn’t fought in the sport since he controversially beat Mark Hunt in July 2016, and UFC CEO Dana White recently played down talk of an imminent return.

Lesnar, who has since rejoined the WWE, is expected to compete at Royal Rumble in January after missing out on Crown Jewel and Survivor Series shows last month.

Mya will continue combining her athletic career with studying before deciding what to do with her obvious talent.

Some fans think she should follow in the footsteps of her famous father by becoming a professional wrestler.

One person tweeted: “This is exactly how I would expect Brock Lesnar’s daughter to look. She’d be a force in the WWE.”

Another said: “She’s 100% gonna take The Rocks daughter to suplex city at Summerslam within the next 5 years.”

A third person added: “I can’t wait til Brock Lesnar daughter (Mya Lesnar) comes to the WWE.”

Someone else wrote: “Mya Lesnar gotta be on the radars of WWE & Triple H.”

Whatever she chooses to do, McGregor will be one of many new fans excited to see exactly where her athletic ability takes her.
