Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, the dynamic duo of Real Madrid, share their joy after a 2-1 win over Braga in the Champions League: ‘We want to keep up this form’.

Real Madrid clinched their third consecutive UEFA Champions League title by securing a 2-1 victory over Braga. This triumph not only strengthens their chances of finishing at the summit but also propels them to the leading position in Group C.

At Braga Municipal Stadium, Rodrygo gave the visitors the early advantage, which was doubled by Jude Bellingham following the break. Not long after, Braga made a comeback, but it was insufficient for the hosts.

For his effort last night, which featured two crucial assists and a goal that was disallowed, Vinicius Jr. was voted man of the match. After the game, he gave a press conference where he discussed his performance for the evening.

“I’m pleased with our performance, the turnout, and my own performance in the game. I have time to reflect and help my comrades. As I have done for the past two seasons, I am striving to be among the best in my finest version.

The Brazilian superstar acknowledged that the opposition did not make things easy for the Merengues and gave them credit where credit was due.

“This was a challenging stadium; we scored three points and have added them all thus far. Things are moving slowly, so you will need to exercise patience. We can score goals because we are at ease.

After that, Vini Jr. discussed Real Madrid’s current standing at the top of their group in the UEFA Champions League.

.

“It’s common to endure hardship in order to triumph away from home. We could have scored more goals, but we played effectively and took use of our opportunities. We need to keep up our winning streak because we won all three games.

The Brazilian was modest during the interview and did not think twice to thank the club’s medical team for their assistance in helping him heal from an injury that he had not too long ago.

“I’m thrilled to give it my all following the injury. The doctors and physiotherapists have been of great assistance to me, and I would like to thank them for their work.

Along with lamenting his lack of a goal, he said, “I always go very fast and sometimes I pass a little.” Although I’m pleased with the game today, I regret not scoring.

After Vinicius’ pass, Rodrygo Goes finally broke through for the team’s first goal of the game. The Brazilian was full of compliments for his countryman.

Given that Rodrygo is my brother, I’m relieved he marked him. When we create opportunities and score, the forwards are thrilled. Even though he normally plays well, he needed this goal to get back into the game. During the season, I aim to score more goals,” he remarked.

Vinicius expressed his general satisfaction with the team’s effort and the victory as he wrapped up the conversation.

“Winning is an excellent way to build confidence before playing the big games. We were motivated to win the game and play well going into it.

Rodrygo responds to defeating Braga

After a particularly memorable game, Rodrygo Goes was the next player to address the media, beaming with pride at having finally found the back of the net.

“I was desperate to score. Up until today, I wasn’t having any luck. I tried everything and played well, but things just didn’t work out. Despite my poor play today, I managed to score.

“The benefit of football is that. I’m pleased with my goal and the team’s triumph. “I hope we keep going like this,” he said.

He encouraged his colleagues to maintain the momentum throughout a crucial stretch of the season during his interview.

“It’s always special for me to score in the Champions League because it’s a very special competition.” Now when a lot of things are approaching, we must keep going.

Lastly, Rodrygo expressed his gratitude to Carlo Ancelotti for encouraging him during his lean phase and for never losing faith in his skills.

“I’d like to express my gratitude to the boss for always having faith in me. He’s reassured me before. I appeared upset and dejected for failing to score, but he has always encouraged and believed in me.

“Thank you very much for that. We now need to continue doing things correctly,” he said.
