Amber Heard accuses ‘drunk’ Jason Momoa of trying to get her fired from Aquaman 2

The set of Aquaman 2 was reportedly a very hostile place for Amber Heard, with bombshell therapy documents claiming her co-star Jason Momoa fought to have her fired from the film.

The actress has alleged Jason would turn up drunk to filming and dressed like Johnny Depp amid her explosive defamation trial with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. The claims were made in newly released documents from Amber’s therapist, Dr Dawn Hughes, which were used as part of last year’s high-profile trial.

The documents, which were obtained after fans of Johnny paid the court fees for their release, show Amber claiming: “Jason said he wanted me fired. Jason drunk — late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too.”

A DC spokesperson hit back at Amber’s claims. They told Variety: “Jason Momoa conducted himself in a professional manner at all times on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” Another insisted the actor did not turn up drunk to set. They added: “And he isn’t dressing like Johnny Depp. He has always dressed in that bohemian style.”

The notes from Amber’s therapy session also allege she felt unsupported by the director of Aquaman 2, James Wan. “He raised his voice @ me — ‘I can’t even post about Aquaman’ — made it like it was my fault – I said ‘I’m sorry’,” the notes read. “Nobody could take selfies with me on set given blackout.”

A DC spokesperson told Variety that James treated all members of his cast “with the utmost respect”. The Mirror has approached representatives for Jason, DC Studios, Amber and James for comment.

They say the decision was made before Johnny Depp filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife. However, the studio allegedly reversed their decision after Amber’s former boyfriend Elon Musk allegedly sent a letter to Warner Bros. In the letter, he is said to have threatened to “burn the house down” if Amber was axed from the film.

Amber will return as Mera in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is set for release on December 20. Jason will once again take on the role of the title character.
