Evil Esme Returns Brings Laura Regret!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may soon regret her trusting nature.

While listening to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), it appeared that Laura’s brother was getting to her.

While it’s clear that Cyrus hasn’t turned his back on his evil ways, Laura at least seems willing to entertain the possibility that Cyrus has turned over a new leaf.

For now, Laura is keeping Cyrus at arm’s length but Cyrus isn’t the only one that Laura seems to be willing to trust a bit too easily.

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Appears To Trust Esme Prince!

Laura let Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her baby live with her when Esme had nowhere else to go.

Of course, that’s because the baby is her grandson but that doesn’t mean that Esme deserves the praise that Laura seems to heap on her on a regular basis.

She may have amnesia now, but viewers will remember that Esme committed some terrible crimes that she hasn’t paid for. Even though she doesn’t remember doing those things, it doesn’t mean that they never happened.

GH Spoilers – Esme Prince May Soon Remember Who She Is!

But Laura’s trust in Esme could certainly lead to big trouble down the road. Sooner or later, Esme is bound to get her memories back. And while it’s possible that even with her memories returned, Esme will continue to be the good girl, it’s highly unlikely.

Esme is the daughter of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and Esme, at least as originally written, was certainly following in their evil footsteps. It’s only a matter of time before that version of Esme returns.

General Hospital Spoilers – What’s Next For Esme Prince?

Esme could still face criminal charges should her memory be returned. She might even try to manipulate Laura to intervene so that she doesn’t have to go to prison.

All of that could come back to haunt Laura should Esme then do something so terrible that it endangers the people that Laura loves, most notably Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

Laura would certainly blame herself if Esme did something after Laura vouched for her. The same thing could happen with Cyrus is Laura isn’t careful.

GH Spoilers – What Do You Think?

Will Esme ever get her memory back? Will she revert to her evil ways? Will Laura regret trusting in Esme?

Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.

Britain is likely to line up alongside the EU against the US if Donald Trump triggers a new trade war, a senior minister has signalled. Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds told peers that the UK would need to ‘weigh the consequences’ of any demands the incoming US president makes on trade if they risk damaging relations with the EU. Britain has a larger trading relationship with the bloc than America and would be cautious of provisos that may have an ‘adverse’ effect on ties with Brussels, he told peers last night.
