Carly’s Betrayal, Drew’s Heartbreak-Cheats With The Charming Brennan?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could very well fall into temptation with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) away in Australia. The charming enemy Aussie named Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure) seems poised to sweep her off her feet!

General Hospital Spoilers – Cat’s Away, The Mice Will Play?

Carly remained faithful to Drew the whole time he was in Pentonville with no problem, but there was no competition and Brennan’s working hard to sweep her off her feet!

Considering Brennan is the head of the WSB and possibly of Pikeman as well, he’s probably trying to do exactly what the SEC was suspected of doing.

Brennan’s ulterior motives are likely going through Carly to get to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and get more leverage over him-he started flirting when Sonny turned down any more deals.

GH Spoilers – Priorities, Priorities

Brennan recently told his Pikeman associate Roman Hume (Mark Englehardt) his priorities were Sonny and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), eliminating Sonny a distinct possibility.

It would be messy, leaving Sonny’s territories, which is what Pikeman wants to use, up for grabs from other mob families.

At the same time, he alluded to different ways of leverage over Sonny, and going after his loved ones might be one of them.

It’s possible this ELQ business in Australia could be a setup by Brennan, since he’s Australian-Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was supposed to go but Drew went instead at the last minute.

Brennan may have intended a kidnapping of Michael since he’s Sonny’s adopted son, but since Drew went, he can keep him busy in Australia, possibly kidnapping him while focusing on Carly.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer May Grieve The Loss Of Her Mother Soon

Signs seem to point to Jacklyn Zeman’s (Bobbie Spencer) death being dealt with on the show soon, and Carly could grieve the loss of her mother while Drew is away.

Brennan then could step in to comfort her in Drew’s absence although surely Sonny will come closer as well, that would only be natural.

What Brennan originally merely meant as a seduction trap could actually turn into a real connection with Carly, and vulnerable, Carly could fall in love with him too.

She may have turned down his first try at a date, but that doesn’t mean he will stop his pursuit, and even more so if he falls for her eventually.

That means if she succumbs to his charms, there’ll be betrayal by Carly and heartbreak for Drew, and more danger for Sonny!
