Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a father of three beautiful daughters. Ava Raine, the eldest daughter whom he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia, is 22 years old and is walking in her father’s footsteps. She is a WWE star and performs under the developmental brand, NXT.
Jasmine Johnson and Tiana Johnson are seven and five years old, respectively. ‘The Rock’ had them with his current wife, Lauren Hashian. Johnson is fully surrounded by female energy in his life and he loves it. But did he want to have a son as well? Well an interview from five years ago, reveals an interesting detail.
During an interview on The Graham Norton Show in 2018, Johnson revealed his desire to have a son. During the time, his wife, Hashian, was pregnant with his third child (Tiana). When asked about the pregnancy, he said, “It’s a girl. I can’t make boys, but I keep trying to – that’s the fun part!’”
‘The Great One’ wanted a baby boy in his life and explained that he would keep trying until he got one. He loves his daughter and his desire to have a son has nothing to do with extending his wrestling and Hollywood legacy (as his daughters can very well do that too). But just because he wants to experience being a father to a boy as well.
Wanting a boy doesn’t mean Johnson loves his daughters any less. On multiple occasions, he has empathized the importance of having a daughter in life. He is a very busy man, as he has to handle his billion-dollar empire. However, still he manages to take time to spend with his daughters.
His eldest daughter is a young adult and a pro wrestler. She is busy with her own life. That’s why the fans don’t see the father-daughter duo together much. But ‘The Brahma Bull’ makes sure to spend ample time with his other two daughters, Jasmine and Tiana.
Johnson fears that they will grow soon and stop playing with him as they will get busy with their life. Thus, whatever time he gets to spend with his daughter, he gives them his full attention.
