Jurgen Klopp has shared sweet news of becoming a grandfather this summer after his step-son Dennis became a father for the first time.
Klopp, 56, described the time he spent with his family as the ‘perfect summer’, and feels that he aesthetically fits the bill of being a grandfather.
While revealing the good news, Klopp said it has been a “blessing” to spend four weeks with the newborn and see him “growing and all these kinds of things”.
The German manager also added jokingly that: “I already look like a granddad and now I am one”.
Jurgen Klopp went on to add: “Everything is good. Mum is good, dad is good and baby is good as well. It’s long ago that we were in that role to be honest, but I can tell you it’s like riding a bike.”
“It’s just beautiful. The most beautiful thing I have experienced in the last 30 years.”
