Rapper Kanye West last year, did not make headlines for the right reasons. Instead of being praised for his music, he took the internet by storm by comments he made. It seems like he hasn’t learnt his lesson as he resorted to making controversial statements.
With news about the delay of his highly-anticipated album ‘Vultures’ and an online controversy with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj, Kanye West held a listening party for his album in Las Vegas. The party also saw his daughter North in presence.
Kanye West took to the stage to express his anger toward a list of people which include ex-business partners. Various videos on the internet show the disgraced Yeezy designer falsely screaming “It’s 60 million of us in America, 60 million in the world.”
While he was on a roll with venting about his frustrations about the lack of support he receives, the ‘Flashing Lights’ singer was challenged by a woman who said, “You ain’t God.” He proceeded to threaten to have the woman removed from the premises.
West, who is openly diagnosed with bipolar disorder, went as far as telling the crowd to “shut the f**k up” before complaining about how all rich people have enrolled their kids “ind schools” and blasting private schools as an institution. “I don’t give a f**k,” he shouted at one point.
But the most unsettling and troubling part of the entire 10 minutes was when the rapper, aged 46, included his 10-year-old daughter in the rant session. Kanye claimed that North “ripped up the couches in the house” to come with him on this trip. At the listening party, the young girl took the center stage and gave a preview of what looks to be the start of her rap career.
