Jude Bellingham has invented a new ‘Sheriffs’ goal celebration in conjunction with three of his England team-mates.
The 20-year-old has made a blistering start to life at Real Madrid, netting 11 times in his first 12 outings, and typically celebrates with his arms outstretched.
But now Bellingham and Tottenham star James Maddison have revealed a new move, which entails placing your hand above your eyes, much like shielding from the sun.
Maddison posted the ‘Sheriffs’ celebration on his Instagram account first, after Tottenham beat Fulham 2-0 on Monday night.
He tagged Bellingham, as well as England colleagues Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson in the post.

Bellingham then posted a picture of himself performing the same celebration and tagged the other three.
It remains to be seen if Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold and Henderson, of Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq, perform similar moves when they next score. Henderson reposted Bellingham’s picture.

Bellingham’s amazing start in Madrid continued with a goal in their 2-1 Champions League win over Braga on Tuesday night.
Maddison has also excelled at Spurs since joining from Leicester for £40million over the summer, scoring three times and setting up five more goals for the Premier League leaders.
Maddison, Alexander-Arnold and Henderson all started England’s 1-0 friendly win over Australia earlier this month.
The trio all started on the bench for the Euro 2024 qualifier with Italy a few days later, with Henderson coming on for Kalvin Phillips in the second-half.
Bellingham started that game and excelled in a 3-1 win that booked England’s place at the tournament in Germany next summer.
