The retired NFL star is clearly passing down the genes to his 15-year-old shared with Bridget
Tom Brady is passing down his athletic genes to his three kids, Jack, 15, (shared with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan), Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10 (with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen).
On a recent beach trip, the 45-year-old was able to indulge in some of his passions with his eldest, showcasing just how much he was turning into a mini-me of his dad.
A new video Tom posted revealed that the trip was actually a celebration for his post-retirement life, after announcing back in February that he would be stepping away from the NFL.
He included several snippets from a grand party, complete with a football-themed cake, flags, dancing, and even a huge flower display. It all capped off with a packed game of beach football, in which Jack took center-stage, effortlessly dashing across the sand to catch the hurtling ball.
He looked to have some of the same skills his father displayed on the field as part of the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it didn’t stop there.
They also indulged in a game of golf, with Jack taking strong and confident strokes that mimicked those of his father and some of his friends from the field as well.
“Grateful to have the chance to celebrate such an amazing life on and off the field with friends and family. Even more grateful to get through 30 minutes of beach football with no serious injuries,” Tom captioned his post.
A fan even joked in the comments: “Imagine walking on to the beach and being like ‘can I join your pickup game?’ And then realize you’re guarding Julian Edelman and Tom Brady is his QB.”
The former NFL star previously shared photographs from his waterside getaway that included several of his old teammates from his days with the New England Patriots.
The group, also including Tom’s younger kids, were seen partaking in watersports like jet-skiing and paddle boarding.
“Beach day with the crew,” he captioned the snapshots, adding in the comments that most were also wearing swimsuits from his eponymous apparel brand.
His friend Rob Gronkowski, also part of the gathering, quipped: “Just some old retired guys relaxing here, nothing to see folks.”
