Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland flaunted his perfect Christmas gift as he dressed up as Santa Claus.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Norwegian forward enjoyed a stellar debut campaign with City last season as he was an integral part of the Premier League side’s treble-winning campaign. He scored 52 goals during the 2022-23 season including 36 in the Premier League. On the joyous occasion of Christmas, Haaland showed off his maiden Champions League trophy while dressing up as Santa Claus while sharing festive season greetings.

The star striker posted a photograph of himself dressed up as Santa Claus and holding the Champions League trophy as he wrote in the caption, “Ho Ho Ho Christmas is here! Hope you can enjoy it with your loved ones.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
City recently won their fifth title of the calendar year as they thrashed Brazilian giants Fluminense 4-0 in the Club World Cup final to win the title. Earlier this season, they had also bagged the UEFA Super Cup title by beating Sevilla.
WHAT NEXT FOR HAALAND?
The 23-year-old missed the Club World Cup due to an injury but he is expected to be back in the starting lineup when Guardiola’s side face Everton in the Premier League on Wednesday.
