Sergio Ramos planted a kiss on the cheek of Shakira to reignite his El Clasico feud with Gerard Pique – after she picked up a Latin Grammy for the diss track that slams her ex

Shakira won a Latin Grammy for her diss track that slammed Gerard Pique after their acrimonious split – and it was handed over by his biggest rival.

Real Madrid icon Sergio Ramos was delighted to hand the iconic trophy over to the Colombian hitmaker who had two children during an 11-year relationship with Barcelona hero Pique, who swiftly moved on with a new partner.

Ramos, now back in Spain with Sevilla, planted a kiss on the cheek of the 46-year-old won alongside Bizarrap for the track Out of Your League, which takes aim at Pique as well as pushes female empowerment. The hit won both song of the year and best pop song at the 24th annual ceremony on November 16.

Lyrics in the song included ‘trading a Ferrari for a Twingo’ after he confirmed his relationship with 24-year-old Clara Chia.

The Barcelona and Spain icon, 36, was in a relationship with Shakira between 2011 and 2022 with the couple having two sons together born in 2013 and 2015.

The former Manchester United defender has not said much in the public eye since the pair ratified their separation lawsuit as well as agreed over the custody of their kids.

However, he did say to RAC1 earlier this month: “If I had given importance to what they say about me now I would be locked in an apartment or I would have thrown myself off the sixth floor.

“The only way to get out of all this alive is to ignore it. I can’t go out every day to deny things that aren’t real.

“I don’t want to talk about it and I won’t talk about it, but of everything that has happened, people don’t know even 10 per cent of what happened.”

The public split took an unexpected twist in relation to alleged cheating – which may have been spotted after some strawberry jam went missing.

Shakira is said to have spotted some of the fruit spread to have been eaten out of their fridge – which was recreated in a music video for her song Te Felicito.

After it was reported that Shakira returned home from travelling to find an empty jam jar, ShowNews say that neither Pique nor their children eat the preserve – which would mean that someone else had been in the house.
