Jackson and Patrick Mahomes are shown in a now-rare picture celebrating.

Patrick had not shared photos of himself with his brother in quite some time

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to Instagram Stories on Monday to repost a photo of him with his mother Randi, wife Brittany and brother Jackson, who was the original poster.

Patrick, 28, has not shared photos of himself with his brother in quite some time amid Jackson’s ongoing legal issues due to a video showing him sexually assaulting a woman in her office.

Patrick Mahomes surprises Brittany with a big kiss during New Year’s Eve celebration

The new year has seemingly made Patrick go back to publicly supporting Jackson, whose hearing is upcoming in the next couple of months.

In the photo, Patrick can be seen holding a beer can, which also set off alarms with fans wanting him to be fully locked in for the postseason.

Chiefs struggling like never before under Mahomes

Patrick used to share pictures alongside his brother before the legal issues, but 2023 also saw them lose their grandmother, Randi’s mom.

Jackson, 23, has been involved in several other incidents that many people suggest are the reason Patrick doesn’t have more Super Bowl rings.

With the Chiefs not looking like their old selves this year, fans are considering Jackson to once again be at fault, though that could not be further from the truth.
