Maxie Recalls Sweet Romance With Spinelli, As Feelings Resurface

General Hospital spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been making a lot of big changes in recent years. Just a few years ago, Maxie was Nina Reeves’ ( Cynthia Watros) assistant and second-in-command at Crimson Magazine.

Maxie has worked at Crimson longer than anyone , including Nina, and when Nina took time off, Maxie took over all editorial decisions and was quite good at in. Once Nina returned to her position, Maxie realized she wasn’t challenged anymore at all.

Nina didn’t want to lose Maxie at Crimson but she couldn’t allocate the funds since she hadn’t set aside the funds when she created the budget.

Maxie felt she had to leave Crimson for good and as luck would have it, she convinced Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to make her a permanent partner in the newly restarted Deception Cosmetics.

Deception thrived under Maxie and Lucy’s Leadership and coverage until Tracy Quartermaine ( (Jane Elliot) used blackmail to make them sign over controlling interest in Deception.

Maxie realized that the apartment she lived in with all three of her children was way too tiny. Since Deception was so profitable around that time, Maxie’s first choice was to purchase LuLu Falconeri’s house (last played Emme Rylan).

Maxie decided that for now she could rent that property only. But help is already on the way in the form of Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) knew of Maxie’s financial troubles so secretly told Spinelli.

On Christmas Eve, Spinelli showed up on Maxie’s doorstep soaking wet. Spinelli told Maxie that his apartment had a water pipe burst and that he had to look for somewhere to live while his apartment is repaired.

Maxie offered to let him live there and Spinelli agreed as long as he could pay rent. Later, Felicia and Spinelli were glad their plan to help Maxie was working. It won’t be long untiil Maxie realizes just how much Spinelli still loves her after all these years.
