General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) have never had so much as a hiccup in their joint parenting plan of Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).
They had a mostly easy marriage and family life. Falling apart didn’t really feel like falling, but more so outgrowing each other. Drew’s death left him immortalized as some sort of saint in Sam’s heart. His surprise survival only cemented the important role he played in Sam and Scout’s life.
Now that Drew is itching to raise Scout in a way that goes against everything he and Sam have agreed upon over the years — and everything Scout wants — there is bound to be trouble in paradise.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Fans Rejoice
The fans are excited to see this former couple take center stage soon to battle it out over problems only created by Drew’s new zest for change in his child’s life. Of course, we’ll see this serve as the foundation for Sam to call out Drew’s odd behavior.
It remains to be seen whether Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — aware of Drew’s sudden shift in mood — will be on Team Sam. We just hope someone is actually on Team Scout.
That’s who matters in this situation and as her parents take to fighting over her for the very first time, there could be some rather unpleasant consequences in store for each of them.
GH Spoilers – Say Sam McCall Has More Support
As Drew and Sam go head-to-head to debate what is in Scout’s best interest regarding her education, Sam will feel more grateful than ever to have Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in her corner.
It might be tough for her to ride this fence at the Q mansion. Drew’s family is likely to also notice that he’s not quite himself, but they’re not going to go out on a limb to cross him either.
There will be one person who gets sandwiched in the middle of this though: Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Whose side will she take?
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain Is Done Playing Nice
Drew wasn’t kidding when he told Carly it’s never served him well to play the nice guy card with his family — and as it turns out, he wasn’t just talking about the Quartermaines.
Certainly, they’re a far more bitter pill to digest than Sam, but Drew meant it when he said he’s turned over a new leaf and isn’t going to take anything from anybody anymore.
Sam is not exempt, and she may be able to accept that. But Scout’s opinion should matter to Drew, and when it doesn’t, it’s going to send off alarm bells for her mother.
