Carly Receives A Comforting Visit At Kelly’s

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will receive a comforting visit at Kelly’s. She goes to Kelly’s to feel close to her late mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and to grieve, after enduring too much bad news in one day.

General Hospital Spoilers – First Devastating News, Than Nina Reeves

It had been the worst and most traumatic day Carly had in a long time, and it was good that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had returned from his business trip early.

New Year’s Day morning she got a call from the embassy in Amsterdam-her mom had died in her sleep.

The same day, later on, Nina Reeves showed up at her door wanting forgiveness for turning her and Drew into the SEC, causing Drew a prison sentence-it was too much.

So Carly had to get away, somewhere, anywhere to grieve her mom and try to feel close to her.

She chose Kelly’s, where her mother once lived with Aunt Ruby Spencer (Norma Connolly) and sold to Carly for a dollar.

GH Spoilers – A Poignant Memory

While alone in Kelly’s, with the “closed” sign put up, Carly has a poignant memory while she sits and cries, holding a cup of coffee. She flashes back to a time when she was happy and in a happy place with Bobbie, Bobbie had told her she was a good mother.

She’d laughed and told her she’d learned it from her, and they’d hugged and Bobbie had thanked her.

The visit from Nina at exactly the wrong time made things even worse-she’d broken down and cried in Drew’s arms, not understanding why Nina gets to live and her mother didn’t.

As Carly continued to remember her mother and continued to grieve, suddenly there is a knock at the door, and she shouts out that they’re closed.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Knocking Continues, She Finally Goes To The Door

The knocking continues and is persistent, and Carly realizes she’s going to have to answer the door since the knocker isn’t going to go away.

Finally, Carly gets up from the counter where she’s been crying into her coffee and goes to see who it is.  It’s Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) delivering compassion and company in the middle of the night.

Elizabeth and Carly will bond over their memories of Bobbie, and Elizabeth may have something special to give Carly in Bobbie’s honor. Carly will tell Elizabeth that what she brought to her that night was just what she needed.
