Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, revealed she received a special serenade from her daughter’s Grammy-Award winning girl group, Destiny’s Child, on her 70th birthday.
While the superstar, 42, and her former bandmates may have gone their separate ways in 2006, the musicians came together for a very special performance to help Knowles ring in another year of life.
‘I just got spoiled to death this weekend. I even got serenaded by Destiny’s Child. How amazing is that?’ the mother-of-two said in a video, uploaded to her Instagram account on Wednesday.
She continued: ‘So I just want to thank everyone who sent me flowers, everyone that told me a happy birthday. I got so many well wishes.’

Knowles went on to rave that she was feeling ‘so blessed’ and loved as she enjoyed time with her ‘so many bonus children’ and friends.
She began her video by stating: ‘This is ‘turn up’ Tina, coming to you, on my birthday in my favorite place in the world, Malibu Beach. And I have had the time of my life with all of my beautiful friends from Texas and my friends from California.’
‘This has been a spiritual weekend, and just about the empowerment of kickass women. Just tough, beautiful women filled with love. And I feel so loved. I had a little anxiety about turning 70, you know? But I’m so blessed to be here, and I’m so blessed to have the life that I have and the people that I have around me. All the love,’ she concluded,
News of Destiny’s Child latest reunion comes just a week after former group member LeToya Luckett shared an image of the whole group reuniting backstage at one of Beyonce’s wildly successful Renaissance tour stops.
Luckett, who has 3.3. followers, shared the image and wrote, ‘ALL LOVE. This was hands down my favorite moment of 2023.’
Roberson also posted the picture and captioned, ‘How Can You Change Destiny. Happy 2024 Lovers,’ adding, ‘My Sisters 4L.’
Luckett, Beyonce, LaTavia Roberson, Kelly Rowland, all 42, and Michelle Williams, 44, were all pictured.
Missing from the united scene was one of the original group members Farrah Franklin.

Fans of the late 90s/early 00s music group were first alerted to the reunion when a trailer for the Renaissance tour movie dropped in late 2023.
The trailer dropped during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and about 40 seconds into the clip fans got a glance of Beyoncé and Kelly reuniting with LaTavia and LeToya.
The Single Ladies hitmaker embraced Roberson while Rowland hugged Luckett.
The now-defunct group reunited when the Irreplaceable singer’s Renaissance World Tour made a stop in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
Farrah Franklin, who joined the group after Roberson and Luckett left, was the only former member who didn’t appear in the film’s trailer. Franklin left the group after just a few months.
According to the official synopsis for the film, the project ‘accentuates the journey of RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri.
‘It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.’
‘Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans,’ the synopsis continued.

While reacting to the news that her much-anticipated movie took over the box office in early December 2023, Beyonce gushed that she is ‘so deeply thankful to AMC and every team member who worked so hard’ on the film.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote, ‘I just can’t thank all of you enough for your support. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done because of the short turnaround time,’ she captioned a video, featuring footage from the film’s multiple premieres, attended by Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, Lizzo, Kris Jenner among other A-listers.
‘I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from my Hive. And WOW! I am so touched and encouraged by the incredible reviews!!!,’ she raved, nodding to the Renaissance movie debuting with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
The mother-of-three, who is often mum in her social media posts, wrapped up the message, ‘I pray I continue to make something that lifts all of y’all up the way you continue to lift me up,’ she concluded. ‘While I’m often critical and feel my art is never finished, the pendulum swings. I feel gratitude. “We did it.” We have the #1 movie in the country! And a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. And it’s because of you and your support! I humbly thank you.’
