Will Sasha Be The Peacemaker Between Willow And Nina?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) have been to hell and back since coming into each other’s lives.

When Sasha first arrived in Port Charles, she was being paid by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to run a con on Nina and convince her she was her long-lost daughter.

After that lie fell apart, Nina was somehow able to find it in her heart to forgive Sasha — a stranger that she still came to love while thinking she was loving her child.

With Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) out of town and Ava Jerome (Maura West) holed up at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse — where Nina isn’t currently welcome — it made sense that Nina would need comfort from someone else, but Sasha may serve as a cruel reminder that Nina is going to lose the one thing she holds most dear: Her daughter.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Irony

It’s hard to believe that NIna once thought Sasha was her daughter, and that when she did, they fell out because Sasha betrayed her trust.

Now, she knows that person is Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), and Nina has just done the same thing to her.

Withholding the truth and pretending to know nothing about the dire situation Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were in isn’t something Nina expects Willow to forgive her for so easily. Moreover, she may lose Sonny in the process as well.

GH Spoilers – Hint Sasha Gilmore Corbin Reaches Out

Sasha knows her own limits, and it isn’t likely that she’ll approach Sonny regarding his marriage to Nina.

She and Willow are tight, and it makes sense that she might give her a nudge in hopes that she will give NIna another shot.

This isn’t going to be easy for Willow as she struggles to also forgive Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for keeping the truth a secret.

Her messy marriage may make her feel all the more inclined to talk to her mom because that’s the one person whose support she might feel she needs when she’s questioning the longevity of her marriage. Will Sasha be able to appeal to Willow on those grounds?

General Hospital Spoilers — Will Willow Tait Forgive Nina Reeves?

Willow might have the most forgiving nature of anyone in the Corinthos/Quartermaine family, but she does have boundaries — and she’s been very clear about enforcing them where Nina is concerned.

She’ll be kicking herself for getting her hopes up that Nina was going to be different than she previously thought. At the same time, the struggle to cope with Michael’s lies and blackmailing of her mother could cause her to feel some sympathy for Nina.

She may have gotten herself into this mess, but Michael buried her with it. Will she forgive her in spite of him? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

Trans men and lesbians would get IVF priority two years ahead of heterosexual couples under NHS plan – as campaigners slam proposals as  ‘grossly discriminatory’

Family campaigners have criticised as ‘grossly discriminatory’ plans to give trans men and lesbians access to NHS-funded IVF two years ahead of heterosexual couples. Under the controversial proposals, trans men – those born as women who now identify as men – will be automatically assumed to be unable to conceive, as will lesbians and single women. This means they will be immediately eligible for IVF on the NHS – costing an estimated £5,000 a cycle – if they meet the other criteria, such as a body mass index between 19 and 30, not smoking, being under 43 and not having a partner with a child from a previous relationship.

President Joe Biden sat down with Chinese President Xi Jinping for the last of many meetings with the leader of the economic powerhouse, with Biden accidentally referencing an ‘alliance’ with the country’s top competitor. ‘We are the most important alliance – or the most important relationship in the entire world, and how we’re getting along together can impact the rest of the world,’ Biden said, quickly correcting himself after applying the friendly term to a key supporter of Russia who has been harassing U.S. allies in the South China sea and flooding the U.S. with exports. But he restated his long-held view of using diplomacy to avoid problems.
