A young Nigerian lady named Temitope Oseni has bagged a Geology degree with first-class honors and won an award for best graduating student at Kwara State University, Nigeria.
Temitope obtained her bachelor’s degree in Geology and Material Science at Kwara State University, Nigeria. She graduated from the university with first-class honors of 3.70b over 4.00 cumulative grade points.
She shared her achievement of bagging the degree on her Linkedin stating that she graduated as of the Top 1% of her graduating class. Temitope also mentioned that she was the third person and the first female to ever achieve the feat in her department.
”I’m very pleased to share that I recently graduated from Kwara State University, Malete graduating among the Top 1% in my class with First Class Honours and Emerging as the third person to ever achieve this feat in the Geology Department in inKWASU,” she said.
Temitope mentioned that the four years she spent in the university were one of determination, hard work, learning, and unlearning. She won the award of best-graduating student in the Department of Geology and Mineral Science.
While at the university, She stated that she served and volunteered in a few positions together while maintaining a good grade. The positions she served included being a Public Relations Officer Nigerian Association of Geoscience Students of the university chapter.
She was also a member of the Department of Geology Student Representative Council (400 level) and Kwasu Eco Club. She expressed her gratitude to the university community and everyone who contributed to her success.
Temitope mentioned that she has officially moved to a new phase of my life adding that she looks forward to the numerous opportunities life has to offer her.
