A brilliant young lady named Faith Bello who graduated with first-class in Law at the University of Ibadan has won a full scholarship to continue her studies in Law school.
Faith bagged her bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She graduated with first-class honors despite running a full-time business as a fashion stylist in school.
She was also presented with two awards as the best graduating student in the university. Faith also won the Femi Gbede Scholarship to continue her education at the Nigerian Law School.
She took to Twitter to share her achievement of being one of the ten 2023/2024 Femi Gbede Scholars. The Femi Gbede Scholarship is a full scholarship opportunity for Nigerian students looking to enroll in the Nigerian Law School.
The scholarship not only covers school fees but also includes a monthly stipend, recognizing the multifaceted challenges students encounter during their legal education journey.
”Oh my God! I got a LAW SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP God,” she said. Faith expressed her excitement stating how shocked she is to have all of her accomplishments of graduating with good grades and earning awards.
”Is this real? From graduating with a First Class to getting awards that totally shocked me, to getting interviewed and featured on blogs to getting a scholarship,’ she said.
She said in an interview with SPOTLIGHT she hopes that her story influences other young people to strive for success and excellence even when ambitions and plans appear impossible. “I really want to be an example of a student studying a taxing course with a demanding business that could still come out with a first-class degree,” she said.
”I want my story to encourage youths who are entrepreneurs. I want them to know the sky would turn out to be a stepping stone for them once they put in the effort required,” she mentioned.
Faith said she is very optimistic about her future adding that she hopes to still actively participate and excel at being a lawyer and a business owner. “As it stands right now, I am still hopeful that I would be able to manage being a lawyer and a fashion brand owner,” said Bello.
