He’s preparing to don his cape again for the upcoming Superman sequel Justice League.
And Henry Cavill seems to be remaining in character, taking a cheeky Instagram selfie in front of a statue of the superhero in his likeness at a museum exhibition in Paris on Thursday.
Wearing a black top and sporting a healthy layer of stubble, the 34-year-old posted the image with the playful caption, ‘Superhombre and Superman seen together for the first time!’

Henry was taking a look at the history of comic book heroes at an exhibition titled, Art of DC – Dawn of the Superheroes.
The British actor told his followers: ‘It was a fantastic opportunity to see the evolution of the most well known DC Superheroes.
‘The incredible talent of some of the more prominent artists over the years is proudly on display along with the actual costumes from movies past and present.
‘Without the great minds and talents of those creators, artists, inkers and filmmakers we would be missing a major part of today’s modern pop culture. Thank you to them all!’

A teaser for Justice League was released in March, but intriguingly this didn’t include Henry himself.
At the beginning of the trailer, dizzying landscape shots of snow-capped mountains and vertiginous ledges accompany voice-over from Batman’s alter ego Bruce Wayne.
‘We have to be ready – you, me, the others,’ the tycoon-turned-vigilantee warns. ‘There’s an attack coming from far away.’
