A brilliant Nigerian Lady named Bukola Ademujimi has won the award of best graduating student at Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria after bagging a Microbiology degree with 4.84 over a possible 5.00 cumulative grade point.
Bukola obtained a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology with an outstanding grade of distinction from Adekunle Ajasin University Ondo, Nigeria. She was awarded the best student of the university’s Faculty of Science.

She stated that her initial dream was to study Nursing Science at University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) which was opposed due to the traveling distance by her parents. She added that it was her parent who suggested Adekunle Ajasin University.
She said she had decided to study at Adekunle Ajasin University choosing Microbiology as it was widely believed that microbiology and biochemistry are the best science courses in the university.
“Initially, I didn’t plan to study Microbiology, because all through my secondary school days, it sounded strange to me. Though, my UTME score was enough to study Nursing Science in UNIPORT,” she said.
”I put in for UNIPORT, but was compelled to change my Institution to AAUA, and pick one of their best courses – as its’ widely believed that microbiology and biochemistry are the best science courses in AAUA,” she added.
Bukola said with the support of her happy and supportive family over time, her love for microbiology was rekindled. She said after scoring 4.56 in her first year at the university, she proposed to keep the energy rolling.
