Nina Strikes A Deal With Cyrus, As Dex Lurks Outside His Room

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) will strike a deal with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) as Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) lurks outside his room.

Nina challenges Cyrus to prove his redemption by forgiving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and dropping the assault charges, as Dex waits to complete Sonny’s orders to kill him!

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Told Nina Corinthos Sonny Corinthos Beat Him

Ava Jerome (Maura West) told Nina that Sonny had been arrested for beating Cyrus within an inch of his life-saying Sonny gets downright dangerous when betrayed.

That means Nina has to do something to make things right, deciding to try and make a deal with Cyrus-if he drops the assault charges that means no trial for Sonny.

Of course, Nina doesn’t realize that the one he told was his sister, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and she’s the one who sent Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to arrest him.

The mayor having initiated the arrest puts a whole other focus on the legalities and Sonny will have to be tried in court regardless.

That can be circumvented if Cyrus himself drops the charges and tells Laura, which he probably would-if Dex doesn’t get him first!

GH Spoilers – Prove You’re Sorry

As Dex is there to go in and kill Cyrus in his hospital room with a lethal injection into his IV, he sees Nina go up to the nurses’ station. She asks which room Cyrus is in before he has a chance to do so, and before he gets a chance to disguise himself in scrubs.

Nina bargains with Cyrus, daring him-she tells him if he’s really sorry, he needs to prove it, since his pretending to be a priest and butting in started the whole problem.

He didn’t tell Sonny anything, that was all Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) who beat Nina to it-she meant to confess to Sonny before he found out another way.

Now the only way she can fix this, since Cyrus told her to confess to Sonny, is if he drops the charges and Sonny doesn’t have to go to prison.

General Hospital Spoilers – Preach, Sister!

Nina might engage in a battle of Bible verses with Cyrus, daring him to prove his redemption and faith-he may have turned the other cheek, which Sonny almost broke. But can he forgive those who trespassed against him-namely Sonny-and drop the charges?

She might tell him faith without works is dead-if he says he forgives Sonny but is the cause of his punishment, what good is that?

Nina indeed scores a deal with Cyrus, guilt-tripping him into dropping the charges. But can Sonny call off Dex’s hit before he ends his life with a fatal IV?

Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now. Come back here often for General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates.
