Laura Wants Ava To Drop Esme’s Charges

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) wants Ava Jerome (Maura West) to drop Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) charges.

Not only does Ava refuse to, she’s furious that Laura would even ask, vehemently reacting to the request and arguing!

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Approaches Ava Jerome

At the Port Charles courthouse, Laura approaches Ava, who’s outside the doors to the courtroom with her cell phone, with Esme already inside waiting.

Laura asks if they could talk for a minute, mentioning she’d hoped that they’d run into each other. Ava says yeah, of course-what can she do for Laura; Laura wants her to drop the charges against Esme.

As Laura takes a deep breath and looks upset, Ava bristles, and asks why would she do that?

Ava already told Laura why she threw the book at Esme when they were at the PCPD after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrested her.

GH Spoilers – Sorry But Not Sorry

Ava’s not sorry, but she tells Laura she’s sorry, but she has no intention of dropping the charges; she says Esme deserves this, she’s not backing down.

Ava’s furious and continues, she deserves far worse after everything she did to hurt Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali); Esme had gotten her suspended from the university and framed for her crime.

Now Laura bristles, and interrupts, pointing and shaking her finger at Ava as she says that’s a completely separate issue; let her answer for those crimes when the time comes.

Ava gets a call and tells Laura she’s sorry again, but she has to take the call, and leaves with her phone, and Laura sees that’s the end of that.

Unable to get anywhere with her request to Ava, Laura then enters the courtroom to check in on Esme, who’s already inside waiting for court to be called.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nervous And Scared

Laura approaches Esme with concern, she can see that Esme is worried and scared, and wringing her hands, and looking like she’s ready to break out in a cold sweat.

She’s obviously experiencing serious anxiety and Laura comes over and asks how she’s holding up-she’s not holding up so well, but Esme is worried about one thing more than anything else.

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had promised her at the police station that he’d bring her baby, Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) to court.

Esme tells Laura she’d feel a lot better if Spencer was there with Ace, like he had promised her. Laura looks more concerned-and Esme starts to panic, asking where is Ace?

A desperate farmer spent his final hours writing down his thoughts on how to protect the future of his business from the government’s inheritance tax raid before taking his own life, it can be revealed. John Charlesworth’s son found a handwritten note where the Yorkshire farmer had jotted down his ideas for how best to leave the farm to his children. The musings, left on a clipboard immediately beneath a suicide note, included questions for the family’s solicitor covering costs, capital gains tax, protected agricultural exemptions and what gifted assets could be sheltered from inheritance tax under the seven-year rule.
