Jennifer Lopez has dropped the trailer for her upcoming epic cinematic experience, This Is Me… Now: A Love Story.
The upcoming Prime Video musical draws many parallels to JLo’s life, from her numerous headline-making marriages, her upbringing in the Bronx, and her hopeless romantic nature.
Jennifer, 54, appears to be playing a fictionalized version of herself in what she has described as ‘the most personal thing I’ve ever done.’
A press release describes the film and her upcoming studio album as an exploration of ‘her personal journey to love and the importance of self-love.’
The trailer shows Jennifer’s friends staging an intervention amid fears she may be a sex addict following three lavish weddings.

‘We think you might be a sex addict,’ her friends tell her after she returns home in the arms of her boyfriend.
A disbelieving JLo – who in real life has walked down the aisle four times – replies with a laugh: ‘What!?’
‘Maybe,’ another friend says.
But then, backing up their concerns, a brief montage of her passionate love life and many weddings flash on screen.
Guests can’t help but crack jokes about her romantic history at her own weddings.
‘Third time’s a charm?’ one skeptical guest remarks as they watch Jennifer get married again.
‘This guy don’t stand a chance!’ another jokes.
But eventually she does seek support.
‘Haven’t been sleeping well lately. I guess I never have,’ she confides to others at a group meeting held inside a school gymnasium.
‘When I was little, I used to share a room with my sister,’ she continued. ‘She used to sleep so peacefully. And I used to just lie there awake thinking, “how does anyone sleep that way? when your heart never goes to sleep.”‘
