Strawberry

To prevent bacteria from growing on strawberries, wash them in a vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) and dry completely on paper towels. Then place a layer of strawberries on paper towels in an open container and store in the refrigerator.

Apple

Apples can be stored on the counter, but if you want them to last longer, it’s best to keep them in the refrigerator.

Banana

You can keep bananas fresh longer by separating them from the bunch and wrapping the stems in plastic wrap. Don’t forget that they should be stored at room temperature, not in the refrigerator.

Citrus fruit

If you want to extend the shelf life of citrus fruits like oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, and lemons, place them in the refrigerator drawer, not on the counter.

Pineapple
