Esme’s Alliance With Cyrus Could Come Back To Bite Her

General Hospital spoilers claim Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) didn’t hesitate to reach out to the shadiest person she knew when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) threatened to have her thrown back in jail on the premise that she has recalled all of her old memories.

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) certainly wasn’t expecting Esme to show up in his hospital room begging for him to deploy any connections he still had to find Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). But Cyrus seemingly wasn’t taking the bait.

Esme has little faith that he’ll come forward and help her now, but she couldn’t be more wrong. Cyrus still wants to meddle in his family’s affairs, and what better way to look like a saint to his sister, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), than to bring baby Ace home?

General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Has No Resources

Whether Cyrus still has any money or resources of his own has yet to be determined. GIving what was allegedly all of his wealth away to a program for recidivism, he left prison as a pauper — or so he claims.

Even if he has money tucked away, he can’t very well use it without casting suspicion upon himself. Without money or power in Port Charles, he’s living the life of a servant to God. But Esme doesn’t buy that either.

She expected that he would be able to reach out to contacts who could find Nikolas before he got too far, and when he made it clear how little he could do for her, she left.

GH Spoilers – Report Esme Price Moves On

Esme fled the hospital thinking Cyrus would be of no help to her. A mere phone call wasn’t going to cut it. She needed real manpower. She knows what she’s up against fighting a Cassadine and his millions. Rumor has it Esme won’t have many more doors she can knock on.

She may not have to though if Cyrus can make his favor pull through in ways neither of them expected. But let’s be honest, this isn’t about altruism for him; it’s pure self-interest.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Renault Isn’t Done With Her Yet

Cyrus has other plans up his sleeve. While he may not be in a position to wield money and make problems go away, he gains power every time he’s in the right place at the right time. His past reputation is what led Esme to his door; she wasn’t there for prayers with a man of God.

She needed an ally who would bend the rules and give her what he wanted. Now, he imagines that if he can deliver on Esme’s request, he’ll have formed an alliance with her that in return, gets him what he wants.

She’s going to kick herself when she realizes what that might ultimately cost her. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out how this pans out for Esme and the rest of the family she is now entrenched in.
