On Instiz, Jennie’s beauty became a hot topic through this photo. Many viewers admired the fact that the female singer has remained almost unchanged after nearly 10 years.

Jennie joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2010, after returning to Korea from New Zealand.

In April 2012, Jennie was first introduced to the public through a photo series called “Who’s that girl?” posted on YG’s official blog. After that, Jennie was continuously promoted as a member of a new girl group through collaborations with other artists under the same company.

She played the main role in G-Dragon’s 2012 music video “That XX” and contributed to the song “Black” by the Big Bang leader, as well as in Lee Hi’s “Special” in 2013.

On August 8, 2016, Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa officially debuted as the Kpop girl group Blackpink.

At the end of last year, after 7 years together, all 4 Blackpink members decided not to renew their individual contracts with YG, to pursue solo activities. Meanwhile, the group’s general activities are still undertaken by YG (Blackpink still signs the group contract).

Jennie has now established her own company called ODD ATELIER (abbreviated as OA).
