Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported a major update on Christian Horner’s investigation including the nature of the claims and the 50-year-old’s attempt to allegedly put things under the rug.

Christian Horner is currently under investigation against inappropriate behavior claims. Red Bull GmbH took the allegations seriously and hired an external specialized barrister for this case. Previously, details about the accusations were unclear with conflicting reports. However, De Telegraaf has reportedly some shocking revelations in this case.
As per De Telegraaf, the female Red Bull Racing employee went to the Red Bull GmbH headquarters in Austria in December 2023. The employee accused Christian Horner of sexually transgressive behavior. Subsequently, the parent company launched the investigation.
The employee handed over text messages to the barrister who is investigating this case. De Telegraaf reportedly obtained these messages. As per the Dutch newspaper, it is evident that Horner consistently sent sexually oriented texts to the employee for a considerable period of time.
Moreover, the Red Bull Team Principal allegedly tried his best to wipe things under the rug. So much so, that after this case was first reported online, Horner’s lawyers got in touch with the employee within a span of 24 hours. While Christian Horner denied all accusations.
Moreover, De Telegraaf reported that Horner offered to settle with the employee for a staggering £650,000 or over $800,000. The Red Bull Team Principal might have hoped to silence her to avoid media attention. Additionally, the Dutch newspaper claimed that multiple top figures in the F1 paddock are aware of the sexually transgressive allegations against Christian Horner.
Christian Horner remains innocent until proven guilty
Christian Horner is the Team Principal of one of the most successful F1 teams. If the allegations reported by De Telegraaf are true, strict action will be taken against the 50-year-old including his departure from Red Bull. However, it must be noted that Horner remains innocent until the investigation declares him guilty.

The Briton is currently continuing his duties at Milton Keynes including the RB-20 shakedown. However, tensions are on the rise within the Red Bull camp including Max Verstappen’s family. Although, Christian Horner has claimed that the team remains united as the 2024 F1 season gets underway.
Sexual transgression is unacceptable in any workplace, let alone by an F1 Team Principal. However, there is no official confirmation of these allegations apart from the reports from De Telegraaf. As such, millions of fans would be keenly waiting for an update on Horner’s case and whether the 50-year-old tried to cover this act with a settlement offer to the female employee.
