Real Madrid unfortunately lost points when they had to play away from home in La Liga

Los Blancos experienced more than 90 minutes of unimpressive performance in their away trip to Rayo Vallecano’s home field.

Real Madrid has a trip to Rayo Vallecano’s home field in round 25 of La Liga. In this match, Los Blancos took the field with many changes in the starting lineup. Brahim Diaz continued to start from the start, replacing Jude Bellingham. Veteran Luka Modric took the field, while Aurelien Tchouameni combined with

Nacho to form Real Madrid’s centre-back pair.

With a quality staff, Real Madrid quickly took the initiative on the field. Right in the 3rd minute, Carlo Ancelotti’s army picked sweet fruit. Starting from a quick counterattack, Federico Valverde accelerated on the right wing before stretching for Joselu to shoot into Rayo Vallecano’s net.

After the VAR consultation period, the referee recognized Joselu’s goal. In this match, the Spanish star was placed highest in Real Madrid’s attack by Ancelotti.

In the 19th minute, Joselu jumped high and hit the Rayo Vallecano net with a header. Unfortunately, the goal was not recognized as Lucas Vazquez sent the ball across the line before assisting Joselu.

In the 27th minute, the referee gave Rayo Vallecano a penalty kick after Eduardo Camavinga touched the ball with his hand in the Real Madrid penalty area.

On the 11m mark, Raul de Tomas kicked Real Madrid’s goal, equalizing 1-1 for Rayo Vallecano. It is worth noting that Tomas grew up from the Los Blancos youth academy and had time to play for the Spanish Royal team.

Rayo Vallecano players celebrate a goal.

In the 34th minute, Valverde launched a long-range cannon shot and sent the ball out of Rayo Vallecano’s goal post. At the end of the first 45 minutes, the two teams drew 1-1.

Entering the second half, the match took place quite slowly. In the 58th minute, Joselu managed in a narrow space before shooting but could not beat goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski.

In the context of Real Madrid’s deadlock in finding a way into Rayo Vallecano’s goal, coach Ancelotti made a number of personnel changes. Rodrygo Goes came on to replace Diaz, Toni Kroos replaced Camavinga….

In the 80th minute, Kroos made a dangerous direct free kick, forcing goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski to fly all over to block it.

Minute 90+5′, Real Madrid had only 10 people on the field when Dani Carvajal received his second yellow card and left the field. The Spanish defender was fined after hitting a Rayo Vallecano player.

Final result, Real Madrid drew 1-1 Rayo Vallecano. A disappointing result for Ancelotti’s teachers and students.
