‘Incredible’ Arsenal player has been statistically better than Erling Haaland and Rodri so far this season

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has statistically been the best player in the Premier League this season.

That’s according to statistics site WhoScored, which ranks the Arsenal star above Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Rodri.

Bukayo Saka has once again been Mikel Arteta’s main man in the final third this term. The 22-year-old has had a hand in 28 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions.

In his last six league games, Saka has managed seven goals and one assist to propel Arteta’s side right back into the mix for the Premier League title.

After 25 games played in the league, the Englishman currently ranks as the highest-rated player in the league.

Saka statistically better than Haaland and Rodri this season

According to WhoScored, Saka boasts the highest average match rating so far this season.

The Hale End Academy product’s rating currently stands at 7.68, which places him above the likes of Haaland, Rodri and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Despite Haaland and Rodri’s undeniable influence at City, it’s no real surprise to see Saka topping this list as he continues to produce for Arsenal in the final third.

While some would argue the Englishman wasn’t at his best during the first half of the campaign, he’s really stepped up in recent weeks.

The ‘incredible’ forward is nearly averaging a goal contribution per game this term, which is some going for a player who’s still only 22.

The numbers reflect what kind of impact Saka has managed this season and he seems to be finding his best form ahead of the business end of the campaign.

It will be intriguing to see how Saka stacks up against Haaland and Rodri come May. Should the youngster guide Arsenal to a league title, you’d imagine he will be in with a shout for Player of the Season.
