Ava And Sonny Put The Past To Bed — The Same Place Their Future Is Headed?

General Hospital spoilers report Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been far from friends over the years. Ava’s contribution to Sonny’s youngest son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), being killed in a car explosion was enough for Sonny to consider taking her out.

She was saved by the mere grace of being Avery Corinthos’ (Grace Scarola) mother. But in the years since Sonny met Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), he has softened toward her friend Ava, and she has become someone he calls a friend, too.

Currently, she’s taking up residence at his place as a safety precaution, but something tells us they’re making serious headway out of the shadows of their past — whether they know it or not. What does that mean for the future?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Is Moved

Sonny was taken aback when Ava offered her unending loyalty and support to him in his time of need. Although he’s marginally closer to figuring out who is coming after him and the other mafia bosses in the area, he knows his own operation is at risk.

When the truth came out about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), it pulled the rug out from under Sonny’s feet. Adding insult to injury, learning his son and ex-wife were complicit in Dex’s lie made it that much worse.

Now, Sonny doesn’t know who he can trust, but he’ll quickly come to realize Ava will live up to her promise that he can trust her.

GH Spoilers – Tease Ava Jerome Knows Just What She’s Getting Into

Ava knew what she was doing when she told Sonny he could trust her, just as she knew what she was doing by lurking around and casually overhearing his discussion with Selina Wu (Lydia Look).

The more information she has on what Sonny is going through, the less she has to pry out of his lips — which is no small feat. But if she already knows what’s going on, he’ll be inclined to be open with her.

This gives her an in-road with him she hasn’t had in ages — possibly ever — and she’s not going to neglect it, but she may exploit it for all it’s worth.

General Hospital Spoilers — Is a New Mrs. Corinthos On The Horizon?

If Ava can actually convince Sonny that she’s in his corner — and more so than anyone else — she just might be the next woman to say I do to the don. Sonny has never been any good at being single, and his romantic life has been full of ups and downs since he hooked up with Nina.

Letting her go would also set him free and allow him to be a bit more of the man he was before Nixon Falls — which is clearly in demand if he wants to keep his tight ship running.

Will Ava become his first mate as they forgive and forget the past and move toward the goal of keeping each other safe in the weeks ahead? Keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.

Workouts first thing in the morning or last thing at night could be most effective for staving off cancer, research suggests. Those who were more active at the start or end of the day had the lowest chances of developing bowel cancer, a study found. Experts say the findings suggest there are peak times for physical activity which could be used to design targeted cancer prevention strategies.

The light in Wolfy’s eyes went out and his warmth, softness and presence receded into the landscape of my memory. I would never kiss his fur again, feel his warmth, or his reassuring presence leaning firmly against my knee. My dearest companion was gone. I bent double and let out a long and primal scream. Someone handed me a glass. Our neighbourhood’s much-loved vet, Andrew Carmichael, was there holding a stiff whisky and also wiping away tears. Now in his 80s, Andrew has euthanised countless animals, yet…’This job gets harder, not easier,’ he said. ‘Here’s to dear Wolfy and to the others that follow. You will love many more dogs in your life.’

On the surface of it, Labour’s decision to break another promise and put up university tuition fees feels like a smack in the chops for educational aspiration: just like the mean-spirited, ideological and poorly thought-out decision to charge VAT on private school fees.

On the surface of it, Labour’s decision to break another promise and put up university tuition fees feels like a smack in the chops for educational aspiration: just like the mean-spirited, ideological and poorly thought-out decision to charge VAT on private school fees. In Opposition, this government – and in particular Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner – made grandiose pledges about ‘free education for all throughout your life’, no doubt mindful of appealing to voters aged 18-24 who, bless ’em, still fall for this socialist claptrap. To be rowing back so quickly on that vow is an embarrassment, even a betrayal. It doesn’t really matter that the fee increase, at least for the first year, is relatively modest at £285, up from £9,250.

A hair stylist who alleges she was raped by Conor McGregor and his friend feared the mixed martial arts star was going to kill her during the ordeal, the High Court was told yesterday. Nikita Hand, 35, has alleged that Mr McGregor and his friend James Lawrence, of Rafters Road, Drimnagh, both had sex with her twice without her consent in a Dublin hotel penthouse, following a cocaine-fuelled party. She claims she was left extensively bruised and scratched following the assault, during which she claimed Mr McGregor held her in a ‘stranglehold’.
