According to journalist Ekren Konur, Real Madrid will not put star winger Rodrygo on sale this summer as the Brazilian has the full trust of his manager Carlo Ancelotti and the Italian wants him to succeed at Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe’s summer move to Real Madrid may excite a lot, but this puts a big question mark on how the team will line up next season.
In order to accommodate a certain Jude Bellingham, Ancelotti decided to alter his formation to 4-3-1-2 this season, with Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo leading the charge whenever fit. However, with Mbappe arriving, the Italian will once again need to put his thinking cap on.
Real Madrid do need to check their balance
Mbappe’s move may seem like a free transfer, but it is to be noted that Real Madrid will be paying a hefty signing-on bonus to the Frenchman. This means Madrid might have to sanction a big sale in order to keep their finances in check.
In that sense, Rodrygo’s name might come up not just because of his demand, but also because of the overbooking in attack as even Endrick will arrive in the first team sooner rather than later.

As such, Konur has reported in the past that a few Premier League teams are monitoring his situation at Real Madrid, but good thing for the winger that it will be very difficult for them to convince Los Blancos of the transfer.
A difficult season
Right now, the 23-year-old is very comfortable in Madrid despite the fact that he hasn’t had the desired impact. Furthermore, regardless of the situation, even he is not thinking about leaving.
It is to be noted that early-season jitters were evident in his form but the winger has anyway turned the season around in recent times, scoring a total of 13 goals and eight assists across all competitions.
However, the manager continues to demand more and his contribution, even in the past, is equally highlighted within the team.
“Rodrygo is a success. He has allowed us to win the Champions League two years ago. This year he has not had continuity in goals but he has in work. When we need him he is there,” said Ancelotti about Rodrygo.
