General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is lying in a coma, with his entire family waiting for him to wake up and praying they won’t lose him.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are certainly among the most concerned, as well as Dante’s son, Rocco Falconeri (Francis Finn Carr).
But no one should underestimate how worried Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has to be that Dante could die. After all, he’s the one on the hook for his attempted murder — and wrongly accused.
If Dante wakes up, it will change the course that Jason is currently on. But the longer he stays in a coma, the more worried everyone will become that he’s going to be down for the count and may not survive this.
If he doesn’t, Jason may have bigger problems than facing spending the rest of his life in prison for killing a police officer.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Holds His Breath
At the moment, there is no information for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to act upon. He’s frozen in time waiting for his son to wake up — or not.
Praying every day that the deck stacked against Dante crumbles and he comes back to his family, Sonny has been rather preoccupied with the stress of potentially losing another child.
It seems as though he hasn’t even lent much thought to Jason, nor grown curious about where he’s been, why he’s back, and what business he had on that roof when someone was trying to take him out.
If Dante dies, we can count on Sonny exhaling and hitting the ground running to make Jason pay.
GH Spoilers – Leak Dante Falconeri Succumbs To His Injuries
When Dante’s family races to be by his side later this week, our hearts will probably be practically beating out of our chests hoping this means he’s going to wake up.
But rumor has it that this week may only bring a further decline in Dante’s condition.
By this time next week, Olivia and Sonny could be planning a funeral for their firstborn child. While that news could break both of them, it’s not going to be well received by Jason either. His fate lies in God’s hands now just as much as Dante’s does.
General Hospital Spoilers — This Means War
With Dante gone, Sonny won’t even wait for the shock to wear off. He’s going to react, and the best way he knows how to seek justice is never to wait for the criminal justice system to do it for him.
Besides, he knows Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has a solid shot at getting Jason off the hook even if is guilty. The truth is, it won’t even matter if Jason is proven innocent.
He didn’t shoot Dante, but the man who did is dead and unaccounted for because Pikeman’s extraction team is just that good.
The future is ripe for a feud like we’ve never seen before between Sonny and Jason, and Dante’s death will surely kick Sonny’s taste for revenge into high gear. Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to see how this pans out.
