50 Cent trolls Jay-Z amid Diddy homeland security raids: “Anybody seen Jay LOL “
50 Cent is always making fun of Diddy and his major legal problems, and not even Jay-Z is safe from it.
Tweeting on Tuesday, 50 asked where Jay had been since Homeland Security searched Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an investigation into s** trafficking. Jay and Diddy have been friends for a long time, so 50 might be asking why Hov hasn’t said anything about Diddy’s situation in public.
50 shared a post with a picture of Jay’s face on the side of a milk bottle with the word “MISSING” written above it. The post also included a picture of the famous Brooklyn rapper waving to the cameras on the red carpet.
“Has anyone seen Jay LOL? The puff said the 🏾 isn’t answering his phone. This is funny, @bransoncognac and @lecheminduroi, 50 wrote in the first post. Also in the second, 50 wrote, “
This is Jay-Z as last seen waving at puffy jet LOL @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”
Even though Jay-Z hasn’t been charged with anything, 50 seems to be feeding into online rumors that Hov is connected to whatever Diddy has been up to.
At Hоt 97’s Summer Jam in 1999, 50 and Jay met for the first time. The boss of Roc Nation told the G-Unit leader that he would get him back for his diss on “How to Rоb.” Jay rapped, “Go against Jigga man, your a*** is dense/I’m about a dollar—what the f*** is 50 cents?”
Jay would put the line on “It’s Hоt (Some Like It Hоt)” from Vol. 3: Life and Times of S. Carter, which made the two of them compete with each other. Math Hoffa interviewed Young Guru, a longtime Roc-A-Fella engineer, on the My Expert Opinion show in 2022. Guru said that Jay had told the Roc crew that 50 would be a big deal in the music business.”Jay walked in the studio, he said it before, but I’m telling you how impactful it was,” he said. “He walked into the studio and told everyone, ‘Hey, this guy 50, you’re going to have to deal with him in a couple of months.’” “He told the whole crew, ‘You’ll have to deal with him.’”
