General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) has made some recent moves that are quite suspect. First, she made an actual move into Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) penthouse.

At first, this wasn’t necessarily suspicious. Ava was being tormented by a mysterious person who seemed to be framing her for the murder of Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).

In addition, at the time Sonny was still happily married to Ava’s best friend, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros). So Sonny moved Ava in with them for her protection since she is the mother of one of his children.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Dumped Nina Corinthos

Over the past few months, Ava and Sonny have grown closer, especially once Sonny dumped Nina and kicked her out of their home. Ava has been walking a tightrope of late, maintaining her friendship with Nina but also getting dangerously close to Sonny.

But ever since Sonny’s son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) was shot, Ava’s behavior has become even more questionable. She has been encouraging Sonny to drink much more while dealing with Dante’s scary situation.

Alcohol doesn’t necessarily mix well with Sonny’s bi-polar medication and has also led to many poor decisions Sonny has made in the past.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome has Sonny Corinthos’ Ear!

Ava has encouraged Sonny to cut Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) out of his life. She told Sonny that he can’t trust anyone… but her. Sonny seems to be listening only to Ava at the moment.

With Nina already out of the picture, that only leaves Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) who remain close to Sonny. Time will tell if Ava tries to remove them from Sonny’s life as well!

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Wants To Take Over!

As viewers know, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has altered Sonny’s bi-polar medication so that basically only a quarter of the pills he’s taking are real, the rest are a placebo.

If Ava is aware of this and encouraging Sonny to drink, she may very well be in on Valentin’s plan. Perhaps Valentin has promised Ava that she can take over Sonny’s territory once he’s out of the way.

That might explain why Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) was recently killed, presumably on Valentin’s orders.

While it’s possible that Ava is simply scheming to get in Sonny’s bed, this seems like a much deeper scheme,
