It’s mission accomplished for Scarlett Johansson.
The 33-year old actress scored a $15million payday for the upcoming Black Widow standalone film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The salary equals what both Chris Evans earned for Captain American: Civil War and Chris Hemsworth made for Thor: Ragnarok.

Several sources have reportedly confirmed Johnasson’s salary to them, although Marvel is disputing the figure.
‘Marvel Studios disputes the accuracy of these numbers, and as a matter of policy, we never publicly disclose salaries or deal terms,’ the studio said in a statement.
Marvel has been known to be conservative when paying its stars for their first standalone film. Robert Downey Jr. made $500,000 for the first Iron Man movie in 2008.
Johansson made her debut as Black Widow in 2010’s Iron man 2. She was paid a low seven figure salary for the first Avengers movie in 2012, compared to Downey’s $50million, according to THR.

Equal pay and the gender pay gap have been huge topics of conversation in Hollywood and across many other industry’s the last few years.
After being named the highest-grossing actress in Hollywood history in 2016, Johansson’s name was thrust into the middle of the conversation.
‘Some people felt I should talk about my personal struggle in order to shed a spotlight on the greater issue. Maybe I’m being presumptuous, but I assumed it was obvious that women in all positions struggle for equality,’ the actress said in an interview with Marie Claire.
Top earner: Johansson was named the highest-grossing actress in Hollywood history in 2016; ‘Just because I’m the top-grossing actress of all time does not mean I’m the highest paid, the star said in a 2017 interview
‘It’s always an uphill battle and fight. My experience with my close female friends and family is that the struggle is real for everybody. Everyone has been discriminated against or harassed—𝑠e𝑥ism is real.’
She added: ‘Just because I’m the top-grossing actress of all time does not mean I’m the highest paid. I’ve had to fight for everything that I have. It’s such a fickle and political industry.’
Johnasson has already appeared in six movies as Black Widow.
Some of her other memorable roles include: The Horse Whisperer (1998), Ghost World (2001), Lost in Translation (2003), Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003), Match Point (2005), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) and Under the Skin (2014).
