Sasha’s Quest For Bio Dad – Cody Helps The Mystery Unravel?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease it seems like Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) future is looking bright as she embarks on her new role as the Quartermaine family cook.

With her impressive skills, she has even managed to win over the discerning Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and is optimistic this opportunity will lead to a successful and fulfilling journey ahead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Can’t They Do SOMETHING Better For Sasha Gilmore?

The May 2 filler episode shed light on a major issue with Sasha’s current storyline-while it’s refreshing to witness Sasha happy instead of constantly miserable, this whole cooking plotline’s incredibly dull!

There must be a balance between Sasha’s endless torment and her mundane days spent cooking casseroles and helping Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) with the horses.

We would hope we could have faith in the GH writers’ ability to provide Sasha with a compelling narrative that doesn’t revolve around her suffering.

Let’s delve into a captivating question surrounding Sasha’s past that remains uncharted – her roots; while Sasha she’s spoken about her mother and grandmother’s stories, her biological father’s tale remains untold.

That’s a question the show could definitely explore further – and it would be logical given all the events surrounding Cody’s true paternity.

GH Spoilers – Searching For Her Roots

Cody has recently learned that he is Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) son, but he has chosen to keep this information hidden from Mac, at least for the time being. But then, with John J. York still out on medical leave for a serious health condition, this kind of reveal needs to be onscreen.

Sasha, on the other hand, believes that Cody should embrace this newfound family connection, and come clean, although she is hoping to uncover her own family ties.

Some devoted fans have even speculated that Sasha could potentially discover that she is a long-lost Quartermaine, especially now that she is becoming a part of their household.

They cite a resemblance to Celia Quartermaine (Sherlyn Wolter); she’d be distantly related to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) but not close enough to count.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Helps Sasha Gilmore Delve Into Her Roots?

Cody could help Sasha delve into her roots, and it wouldn’t even have to take them away from the Quartermaine property.

All they would need is a computer and a genealogical site-Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) has some experience with that kind of thing and might be glad to help.

Some real life genealogy search companies offer a simple blood test to compare against others using the same service, and have brought long-lost family members together.

Sasha could find her birth father or perhaps other relatives using such a service, but if the writers wanted to give Cody and Sasha an adventure, they could do that too.

Sasha could definitely benefit from having some family members added to the mix, and it would be fun to witness Sasha embark on a new storyline that goes beyond the kitchen.
