Anne Hathaway Stuns in a Barely-There Look Beneath Her Versace Leather Trench Coat

It’s no secret that Anne Hathaway has cemented herself as one of Hollywood’s biggest fashion It girls, and the actress is getting her comeuppance in a new campaign for Versace, a brand that is currently equally as hot as the actress. The brand launched its Icons Collection earlier this year starring Hathaway and singer Chris Lee, and in the latest installation, Hathaway jumps on the workwear-reimagined trend.

In the new images released by the brand on Wednesday — lensed by the famous photography duo Mert and Marcus (Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott) — Hathaway sports a long black leather trench coat with blazer-like tailoring (including power shoulders and lapels) that dips down nearly to her belly button. Although Anne went sans shirt, she did add a matching belt adorned with a gold buckle in the shape of the brand’s signature House Greca motif to keep the jacket closed. She accessorized with a classic black bag that was also embellished with the famed hardware. Hathaway also forwent jewelry and styled her brown hair in a tousled blowout with forehead fringe.

In another photo, Hathaway continued to put a modern twist on business attire in a black leather blazer and miniskirt suit that she paired with a matching turtleneck and coordinating knee-high boots.

In the third snap, which was the only one in color, Hathaway traded in the workwear for a weekend outfit that included a long camel-colored coat, wide-leg jeans, and a white blouse with a pussy bow and “Versace” repeatedly scrawled across the fabric. She wore a black belt with a large gold buckle (Haven’t you heard? Giant belts are back.) and carried a ludicrously capacious (speaking of businesscore) quilted tote bag with gold hardware.

In a press release promoting the new releases, Hathaway explained why she likes working with the fashion house, calling it a “thought leader” in inclusivity.

“Iconic fashion house Versace offers bold, sophisticated, fun, strong design combined with impeccable Italian craftwork,” she said. “They are intentional and serious about their work as thought leaders in matters of inclusivity and are always seeking to use their considerable platform to value and promote women’s empowerment as well as championing LGBTQIA+ rights. They are a fashion company with a very real heart, and it is my honor to continue working with them on the next chapter of their Versace Icons collection.”

These newest additions are now available at Versace.com and in boutiques worldwide
