Diane Warns Sonny That He Will Likely Go To Prison!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been slowly building a case against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) after realizing she may have been guilty of turning a blind eye to Sonny’s crimes in the past.

Anna’s change of heart began when she heard Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) detail events between Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne) and Sonny decades ago.

According to Cates, Sonny was responsible for Karen’s decent into drugs and stripping. Anna was visibly shaken by the story she heard, even as Sonny tried to defend himself.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller And Cyrus Renault Have A Story To Tell!

As viewers know, Sonny beat Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to within an inch of his life earlier this year. But Sonny wasn’t satisfied with that, and he ordered Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to kill Cyrus while he was incapacitated in the hospital.

Dex was all set to go through with the gristly act, but Sonny stopped him just in the nick of time. Weeks later, Dex left Sonny’s employ and feeling guilty, he gave Anna his statement about Sonny’s order to kill Cyrus.

Worried for Dex’s safety, Anna suggested he join the police force. In the meantime, Cyrus also provided a statement to Anna about the initial beating that took place.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Sees Dex Heller As A Traitor!

Sonny was furious that Dex joined the police force, and believes that Dex is a traitor to his organization. Finally, Sonny confronted Dex at the lobby of the Metro Court. Things escalated and once again, Sonny’s darker tendencies took over and he began beating Dex.

He might have killed Dex had Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) not showed up to restrain him. That only made Sonny angrier and he threatened to put a bullet in both Jason and Dex’s head.

Unfortunately, a very pregnant Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) overheard her father’s tirade.

General Hospital Spoilers – Diane Miller May Not Be Able To Save Sonny Corinthos!

Once word gets out about Dex’s beating, Anna will likely believe that she finally has enough evidence to arrest Sonny and send him to prison.

She’s already given the district attorney’s office a heads up that Sonny’s arrest was coming, so they have had time to build a case based on Cyrus and Dex’s earlier statements.

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has kept Sonny out of prison for decades, but even she may not be able to keep Sonny out of prison, at least for now.

It bears reminding that Sonny’s meds have been tampered with for months now and once that is discovered, Diane may be able to mount a successful defense.

GH Spoilers – What Do You Think?

Were you surprised how quickly Anna turned on Sonny? Has she built a strong enough case to send Sonny to prison? Or will Sonny go free once again thanks to his tampered medication?

Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
