However, it’s nothing like running or jogging, but he’s quite close. But there’s still a long road ahead for Kingfish to swim with the sharks again.

Trout revealed that he has been receiving training twice a day at Angel Stadium. The star can now ride a bike and use an elliptical. So naturally, the next step for him is to start walking and eventually jogging on an Ultra G treadmill. The latter part is highly important because the treadmill reduces the impact of running on the legs. And once he’s successfully done that, the main part will be ramping up for his return to baseball.

Normally, injuries like Trout’s need six to eight weeks to recover. Trout’s currently three weeks into his surgery, and that bodes well for the Angels. With losses ramping up, the team’s hopes completely rest on Trout’s shoulders.

You don’t want him to try to play through anything. So we’ve just got to hold it down until he gets back.”
