Sonny Appeals To Alexis For Help With Kristina — But Will She Take A Side?

General Hospital Spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is seething inside with fury as he tries to shift the blame to anyone but himself when it comes to his daughter’s newfound resentment toward him. Scratch that.

Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) is downright fearful of her father — and rightfully so after what he did and said to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). But as Sonny continues to attempt to find an in-road back into his little girl’s good graces, he may start to reach for help in all the wrong places — starting with her mother.

General Hospital Spoilers — Make Up Your Mind

After Sonny veered off track and lost his cool on Dex at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding, it was Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) who helped him cool his heels and tried to console his broken heart.

He knew at that moment that he would never be able to undo the damage done to his relationship with Kristina.

He couldn’t erase from her memory what she saw and heard — even if she someday chose to forgive him for it, and he confided that fear in Carly. But the next day when Carly stopped by his penthouse, he was curt with her and couldn’t have cared less that she cared at all.

So when Sonny once again turns to Carly for help as he licks his wounds, she’s going to take note of his wishy-washy behavior, even if it makes no sense right now. Still, she won’t have the solution he needs, but she may suggest someone else could.

GH Spoilers – Squeal Ex Number Two Could Be The Ticket

While Sonny’s relationship with Carly has been a milestone in his life, and she’s been someone he can always count on, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is Kristina’s mother and she stands a better chance at getting through to Kristina. Of course, that doesn’t mean she’ll be willing to.

Sonny is likely to come off as desperate, and Alexis might take pity on him. But it’s likely that her compassion for him will end the moment he starts to shift the blame in someone else’s direction instead of taking responsibility for what he did do.

Is Alexis going to insert herself into this mess just because Sonny asks her to?

General Hospital Spoilers — You Scratch My Back…

As the old saying goes, you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours. When it was Alexis who was on the receiving end of Kristina’s distrust, Sonny was there for Alexis. He was happy to bridge the gap between them and go to their daughter as an advocate for Alexis.

Of course, he also understood it was his daughter who was being irrational — not Alexis — in that situation. Furthermore, Alexis had done no wrong.

That’s not the case with Sonny currently, and it’s unlikely that Alexis is going to be on Team Co-parents just because Kristina has finally come to grips with the reality of who her father is. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
