How Far Will Tracy’s Depression Spiral In The Aftermath Of Gregory’s Death?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that as family and friends say goodbye to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) the week of June 3, different characters will spiral in the aftermath due to grief.

It looks like Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will struggle with drinking, and as a former addict, this won’t be a good thing, which may cause his brother Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to desperately try and pick the pieces of his family up. But, how will Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) fair?

General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine Was Already Battling Depression

GH spoilers indicate that Tracy was already struggling with depression when she returned to Port Charles.

She had her annual physical with Dr. Terry Randolf (Cassandra James) recently, and the co-chief of staff noticed something off about Ms. Q and provided some tips to help boost her mental health. She diagnosed her with depression but gave her great strategies on how to overcome this.

That meant trying to find ways to do the things she loved, and she got back into horse riding and other things.

She also continued to get closer to Gregory, and many around her could see she had “more than just friendly feelings” for her soon-to-be new in-law. Now that Gregory is gone, will Tracy be able to move forward, or will she spiral?

GH Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine  Is Still Dealing With Luke Spencer’s Death

There is no timeline with grief, and everyone deals with mourning the loss of a loved one, differently. Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) was Tracy’s soul mate, and while he died in earlier 2022, she’s still coping with the loss.

Rightfully so. While many in the land of Port Charles may have believed that Tracy was incapable of love, her relationship with Luke proved them wrong.

GH, along with other daytime dramas, has placed a spotlight on mental health, shattering stigmas and helping increase awareness of differing conditions. Tracy’s depression was initially nipped in the bud, but it will probably increase in the days and weeks ahead, since Gregory’s passing.

He was the first man to turn her head, since Luke. She may also feel as if she’s destined to live the rest of her days out alone, as the two last men she’s had feelings for, died. How far will Ms. Q spiral, and will she get the help she needs?
