Coleen Rooney is being eyed up as the next Holly Willoughby as ITV bosses ‘hope to capitalise on her girl next door charm for presenting roles’

Coleen Rooney is rumoured to be in the running for TV presenting roles as a result of her stint on I’m A Celebrity.

ITV bosses are hoping to ‘capitalise on Coleen’s girl next door charm’ and loyal fan base by offering her a big money TV deal, it has been reported.

A source told The Sun that there are hopes Coleen will be the next Holly Willoughby and present a host of shows backed by advertisers.

Coleen is followed by over one million people on social media with fans quick to replicate her looks – a reach TV bosses are keen to make the most of.

The source said: ‘Coleen already brings with her the Midas touch when it comes to endorsing the kinds of products which ITV’s advertisers sell.

‘She has over a million followers on Instagram alone, and most of them scan her pictures and observe everything she wears and buys.’

They added: ‘But Coleen has the girl-next-door charm of someone like Holly to connect with millions of ordinary shoppers in a way that few other stars do.’

The source added that advertisers and TV bosses will be keeping an eye on how Coleen’s jungle stint goes and how she lands with the public – with big pay outs on the table if she is received well.

MailOnline contacted Coleen’s representatives and ITV for comment.

It comes after super sleuth Coleen got suspicious about the true nature of the Jungle Junkyard during Friday night’s episode.

The WAG, 38, got her impressive investigative skills back to work to try and uncover what is really going on at Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles’ camp.

Fans were quick to compare Coleen’s detective skills to her infamous Wagatha Christie case, with some viewers joking she’s ‘better than MI6’.

Coleen put a widely-shared post on Instagram which accused Rebekah of leaking ‘false stories’ about her private life to the press.

Wagatha Christie is the popular name given to Coleen and Rebekah’s £1.8 million court case, which culminated in a 2022.

Rebekah denied the allegations and sued Coleen for libel, but the case – dubbed the ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial – found in Coleen’s favour, and left Rebekah liable to pay £1.5 million towards Coleen’s legal fees.

As dinner time loomed in main camp on Friday, the celebrities were told they would have to sacrifice part of their spread to ensure Junkyard campmates Maura, Richard and newbie Dean got to eat.

Volunteering to deliver the goods, Coleen and Danny Jones headed over to the Junkyard – but after seeing the camp’s conditions they left a little suspicious.

Dean was sent to join Maura and Richard in the Junkyard after the duo were forced to make a difficult during The High Street of Horrors Bushtucker Trial alongside McFly’s Danny.

Maura and Richard kept up the pretence, feigning they would have to endure another night of sleeping on the floor.

Until Maura told Dean: ‘The only half decent thing we have over here, this red button, press that, it’s actually quite interesting. It’s not great but it’s something.’

As Dean pressed the button, he too was let in on the Jungle Junkyard secret. Rendered speechless, he whispered: ‘You’ve got to be kidding me!’

Dean was clearly impressed with Maura and Richard’s acting skills, as he told Maura: ‘The BAFTA is coming!’
