She disclosed on her Linkedin profile that she had a first-class degree and graduated with honors.
“I thank God for this day since I received first-class honors in my BSc Marine Engineering degree. Where could I have gone if it weren’t for God? she asked in her letter.
Monica had earlier attended the Liberia Maritime Training Institute (LMTI), Liberia to bag an Associate Degree in Marine/Electrical Engineering before proceeding for her Bachelor’s Degree.
Celebrating her feat, she posted beautiful pictures of their 2022 graduation ceremony where she and her colleagues wore the Marine uniform.
Monica gave thanks to the Liberia Maritime Authority, Liberia’s international ship and Corporate registries, and Liberia Maritime Training Institute.
She also thanked her family for the contributions to her success. “My family, my mentors, Linkedin friends and everyone who contributed to my success.
Thanks, for making me who I am today,” she wrote. “Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue counts.
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work,” she inspired upcoming graduands.
