Dua is set to perform in the country’s capital Taipei tonight but that didn’t stop her from doing a spot of sightseeing.

Sprawled out across a stomach-churningly high green fence, a daring Dua recklessly posed and pouted for the shot.

The popstar, 23, stretched her long legs out across the railing and pursed her lips into a duck pose for the risky pic.

She captioned the snap: “Made it to the top of Elephant Mountain in Taipei.

“The midday heat was probably terrible timing but the view made it worth it.”

But despite her nonchalance, her fans were quick to express their concerns over the daredevil act.

One worried fan wrote: “One fall is all it takes!”

Another commented: “Oh my god. Get down fast or else I will come there and pull you down!”

One anxious follower warned her: “Be careful!! I’m nervous about you sitting on the ledge.”

Dua took some time off from her busy schedule to take in what the country had to offer.

And she made sure to share her experiences with her 18.4 million followers.

Along with her risky railing shot, the singer also uploaded a selfie taken in a mirror on Elephant Mountain.

The singer is enjoying the success of her latest album and tour as it emerged that despite being family friends,there’s a rift between Dua and fellow Kosovan Rita Ora.

They attended the same school, have the same celebrity mates and their families know each other.

But despite the crossovers there’s no love lost between the starlets.

In fact, celebrity insiders say the pair are embroiled in a secret feud, with Dua even taking Rita’s place as the face of Adidas.

It’s thought to have stemmed back to Dua’s first attempts to break into the industry, when she was allegedly overlooked by Rita’s sister, Elena, who works for a music management company, in fear of her stealing Rita’s crown.

When asked about her relationship with Rita recently, Dua smiled coyly, and said diplomatically: “Our parents kind of know each other, and I sort of know her sister.”

A source close to the star told Sun Online: “That’s why you’ll never see them together. It started because Rita’s sister ignored Dua, and Dua thinks it’s because she didn’t want her to rival Rita, and they haven’t made up since.”
